TT Riders Battle Strong Winds

Strong winds saw riders struggle in Cuddon Cycling Marlborough’s Cycle World Time Trial No4 from Wither Hills Winery last Wednesday evening.
The 16km out and return course on New Renwick Road/ Godfreys Road saw riders suffer into a head wind on the outward journey and battle with the strong gusts on the home leg. Ray Dunstan (22m 09s) was easily the quickest ahead of Gerard van Antwerpen (22m 57s) and Nick Batt (23m 34s). The sealed handicap went to Ben Verhoef (3m 20s) by 18s to Ethan Batt (2m 45s) and only another 1 second to Van Antwerpen (1m 20s).
