Cuddon Cycling Marlborough organises road and track racing in Marlborough and is affiliated to Cycling New Zealand Road. Everyone is welcome, we cater for a range of abilities from beginner to elite. Come along to any of our race or training sessions and introduce yourself, we would love to get to know you.

The club offers 4 membership options and you can see more information on each of those below. Some of the benefits of membership are:

a great variety of races each year held across road and track
free entry to racing and training sessions
eligible for club trophies
access to training programmes
junior riders have use of Club track bikes, some road bikes are also available
financial support may be available to riders competing at National Events

Many of our members can just join the club directly by filling in the Google form and then paying via online banking.

Riders who are going to be competing internationally or at National Championship events will need to complete the google form and licence via the CNZ Portal.

All membership applications will be reviewed by the committee, any unsuccessful applications will be refunded.

Membership fees are set at the AGM each year and are currently:

Adult Rider — $100

Junior Rider — $40

Supporter — $10

Social — Free

Membership Options

Adult Rider

Any riders who are 18 years old or above pay the full membership and enjoy all benefits of membership.

Club Rider

If you only intend to ride at club and local interclub events then you do not need to hold a CNZ License. To join as an Adult Rider please fill out the form at the bottom of this page and then pay your membership form via online banking using the details shown below:

To join as an Adult Rider please fill out the form at the bottom of this page and then go to the Cycling NZ Membership portal and first choose the Cycling NZ registration that best suits the racing that you do, for most people that is the basic option, Sport Membership for Road/Track /Cyclocross. Then start typing the word Marlborough into the search field and select Cycling Marlborough as your club. You will pay both the CNZ registration fee and the Cuddon Cycling Marlborough fee as one lump sum. You can choose to have a membership card sent to you, or you can just receive a digital membership that you can store on your mobile phone.

2. Junior Rider

Any riders who are under 18 years old pay a reduced membership fee and enjoy all benefits of membership except that they have no speaking or voting rights at AGM's or SGM's

Club Rider

3. Supporter

Supporters are those people who are actively involved in the running of the club, you might help out on race days, be on the committee, have children who are racing etc. There is a nominal membership fee and you do have the right to speak and vote at AGM's and SGM's.

To apply to become a social member just fill in the form below and then deposit the membership fee into the club bank account. The Supporter Membership fee as set at the AGM on 5th March 2024 is currently $10.00

4. Social

Social members are those people who would still like to show support for the club, they are often people who have been actively involved in the past but don't have time to be as involved any more. Social members are on our mailing list so they can see what events and initiatives the club is currently undertaking and we always love to see them at races, price-givings, club BBQs etc. Social Membership is free, just apply for membership using the form below.
